  • In-Home Aide Services- is an ancillary program which provides home-based assistance to adults with disabilities or families with children served by another social services program such as Social Services to Adults or Child Protective Services.  Services include chore and personal care services; training in self-care, survival, and care taking skills; and the provision of emotional support and guidance to parents experiencing family difficulties.  Although applicants are eligible regardless of income, fees based on family size are charged to those with income above approximately 60% of the State's median income.

  • Families Now- is an intensive family preservation services program.  It provides a continuum  of time-limited, intensive, individualized, in-home services to families in crisis whose children are at imminent or high risk out-of-home placement (Levels I-III) or have recently been placed out-of-home (Level IV).  Caseload size is controlled, ranging from a minimum on six families to a maximum of 12 families, ad services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  A social worker/associate team, provides services to the entire family and has access to flexible funds for purchasing goods and services necessary to maintain the child safely in the home.  There are not financial eligibly requirements and no fee is charged.
