In Home Service Programs

In-Home Aide Services-
is an ancillary program which provides home-based assistance to
adults with disabilities or families with children served by another
social services program such as Social Services to Adults or Child Protective
Services. Services include chore and personal care services;
training in self-care, survival, and care taking skills; and the
provision of emotional support and guidance to parents experiencing
family difficulties. Although applicants are eligible
regardless of income, fees based on family size are charged to those
with income above approximately 60% of the State's median
income.

Families
Now- is
an
intensive family preservation services program. It provides a
continuum of time-limited, intensive, individualized, in-home
services to families in crisis whose children are at imminent or
high risk out-of-home placement (Levels I-III) or have recently been
placed out-of-home (Level IV). Caseload size is controlled,
ranging from a minimum on six families to a maximum of 12 families,
ad services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A
social worker/associate team, provides services to the entire family
and has access to flexible funds for purchasing goods and services
necessary to maintain the child safely in the home. There are
not financial eligibly requirements and no fee is charged.
